Improve the teaching effect of plane geometry in primary school by Hawgent dynamic information technology — take the derivation of "Area of The Circle" formula as an example

The use of information technology for mathematics teaching is a trend in education, and teachers can help students having deep learning with the help of information technology. This study used the ADDIE model( Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to explore the effectiveness of instructional media on the "Area of The Circle" and to describe students’ and teachers’ responses to instructional media. In the preliminary survey, we analyzed 100 sixth-grade students and 30 teachers from all over the country who had been taught "Area of The Circle". Experiment subjects were selected from 95 sixth-grade primary school students and 20 primary school teachers who come from urban and rural areas. The validation assessment included 10 university professors and experimental subjects. The results of this study show that the use of dynamic information technology teaching can enhance students’ learning effect. Not only that, when teachers using information technology in the classroom, students can not only enjoy the fun of exploring in plane geometry, but also improving the ability of geometric imagination and logical reasoning, and enhance their enthusiasm of learning.
