Research of Prospective Encoding Methods for Multimedia Content Protection

the results of the study of a significant number of modern and prospective methods of information protection, in which various methods of encoding of multimedia files are used, are consolidated in the article. The authors focused on special approaches used during cryptographic protection of graphic images, on separate audio encryption schemes and on some methods of hiding regions of interest (ROI) in video materials. Based on existing threats to information security and on the wide variety of effective methods of protecting multimedia components, a system of comprehensive protection of digital multimedia content was formed.
