Hash-Function Algorithm Balanced on Reliability and Data Processing Speed

An algorithm of hash functions with increased reliability is proposed, which, according to test results, provides an avalanche effect sensitivity of 87% on 10 thousand 32-bit pairs instead of the required 50%. The algorithm allows you to control the balance between reliability (sensitivity to the avalanche effect) and data processing speed by choosing the number of iterations when applying the 90 and 150 rules of the cellular automaton in the process of performing the transformation function. The speed of the proposed algorithm is 10% slower than that of the SHA family. However, re-ducing the sensitivity to the avalanche effect can control this speed. In our case, we managed to reduce the generation time by about half.
