Research on Improved Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

In order to solve the problem that traditional particle swarm optimization algorithm is easy to fall into local optimal and slow convergence, this paper uses improved Tent chaos map to initialize, and designs a new non-linear inertial weight adjustment and chaotic search strategy. A Improved Chaotic Particle Swarm optimization (ICPSO) is proposed. In order to better verify the optimization performance of the proposed algorithm, six standard test functions were compared with SPSO and CPSO algorithms. The results show that the proposed algorithm has better optimization accuracy, convergence speed and global search ability than SPSO and CPSO, which proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
