Global Synchronization of Chaotic Delayed Neural Networks via a Novel Hybrid Event-Trigger Scheme

In this paper, a novel exponential-decaying-based hybrid event-trigger scheme (EDBHETS) is proposed to investigate the global synchronization problem of chaotic delayed neural networks (NNs). By virtue of the EDBHETS, not only can the trigger count be effectively decreased, but also the Zeno behavior can be eliminated naturally. Then, a sampling-interval-dependent Lyapunov functional is constructed for the synchronization control system. In view of the continuous-time Lyapunov stability theory as well as a series of inequality estimation approaches, two sufficient and less conservative synchronization criteria are carried out. Additionally, a combined design for the EDBHETS-based controller gain and trigger matrix is carried out. Lastly, some comparison results are given to validate the feasibility and advantages of the devised EDBHETS.
