Design of a Multi-Band and Multi-Function Polarization Converter

In this paper, we propose a single-layer, efficient and multi-band linear-to-circular polarization conversion and cross-polarization conversion metasurface. Simulation results show that the cross-polarization conversion is realized in two bands cover from 6.23 to 7.13 GHz, and from 12.57 to 14.88 GHz with a polarization conversion efficiency higher than 90%. The linear polarization to right-handed circular polarization conversion is achieved in two bands including 4.56 - 5.81 GHz and 16.23 - 21.95 GHz, and the linear polarization to left-handed circular polarization conversion is achieved in 7.93 - 11.07 GHz respectively.
