Design of Ultra-Broadband Honeycomb Absorbing by Using Differential Evolution Algorithm

A wideband radar absorbing structure (RAS) with gradient structure is designed to improve the absorptive capacity. Differential evolution algorithm (DE) is suitable for optimizing of the impedances of each honeycomb layer and gradient structure, the reflection coefficient is below -lOdB in wideband from O.4GHz to 25GHz and below -20dB in the wideband from 3-25GHz. The absorption of honeycomb RAS is stable under Transverse Magnetic (TM) polarization and Transverse Electric (TE) polarization at different incident angles.
