Donkey-hide gelatin Foam Image Feature Extraction and Analysis

As the foaming process in donkey-hide gelatin production is mainly based on field conditions, the foaming process depends on the experience of operators, and the experience level of operators is different. Sometimes, Donkey-hide gelatin foam can't be extracted timely and accurately. Moreover, different foaming sometimes leads to different qualities of glue juice, which leads to energy waste, low output, unstable quality, and low production efficiency. In this paper, a method of applying computer vision to the donkey-hide gelatin foaming process is put forward, which makes computer vision replace artificial vision. By analyzing the characteristics of donkey-hide gelatin floating foam images, we can find the characteristics of floating foam images when it meets foaming requirements in the donkey-hide gelatin foaming process, and better distinguish whether the final foaming can be carried out. It is of great significance to realize automatic foaming and improve the automation level.
