Decomposition of an Antenna Array Focused at Several Space Points

The paper considers the possibility of decomposition of an antenna array focused in several regions of space into partial antenna arrays. Modeling in the computer-aided design system was performed. The simulation results confirmed the theoretical premises. The simulation results showed that the field of a full focused antenna array at each point is a superposition of radiation from all partial antenna arrays. Decomposition into partial antenna arrays will simplify the analysis of the focusing quality of antenna arrays and the assessment of their potentially achievable characteristics. The paper presents calculations of amplitudes and initial phases for the formation of various patterns of the electric field. The form of the given pattern of the electric field coincides with the simulation results. The paper contains tables with the values of the electric field strength, the sum of the strengths from four partial antennas at the focusing points gives in total the magnitude of the strength formed by the full antenna array.
