Analysis of Real Electrical Loads Obtained from Smart Electricity Meters Installed in Apartment Buildings in Moscow

Since 2016, the "Roselectromontazh" Association, together with the Kazan State Power Engineering University, has been participating in the development of new values for the specific design electrical loads of residential and public buildings based on real loads. The implementation of this work is hindered by the widespread introduction of intelligent electricity meters. On the initiative of the "Roselectromontazh"Association with the support of large construction companies on December 30, 2020, in SP 256.1325800.2016 "Electrical installations of residential and public buildings. Design and Installation Rules" for Moscow, a reduction correction factor of 0.81 was introduced to the standard values of the specific design electrical loads, which made it possible to bring them closer to the "Methodology for calculating the electrical loads of apartment buildings being built as part of the Moscow housing renovation program" already at the federal level. However, a more thorough check of the level of real electrical loads in apartment buildings is required.
