Research on CVT harmonic measurement using edge computing

With expansion of the power grid, access of massive voltage information will impact on data transmission efficiency of cloud computing center of power system, resulting in problem of getting accurate voltage information such as harmonic components in time. Accounting the standpoint of edge computing, voltage measured by the Capacitor Voltage Transformer is directly processed on the data processing platform. Then the calculation result will be transmitted to the cloud computing center, reducing the data magnitude of uplink transmission. In this paper, a harmonic voltage measurement architecture of power system is constructed to show the flow of signals during voltage calculation. Then a harmonic measurement platform which is based on reduction calculation algorithm is built to calculate and analyze harmonics of the
$35\text{kV}$
CVT primary side voltage. A dynamic visualization harmonic experiment is built based on voltage acquisition system. The test results show that: maximum harmonic error of the CVT secondary side voltage is reduced from 95.1% to 7.1% in this measurement platform. The delay from harmonic voltage calculation to dynamic display is 0.
