Generative Design in the Construction of the Modern Sensor Attachments

The process of designing components for the aerospace industry, combined with the computing power of modern computers, which can handle many simulations, offers designers entirely new possibilities for model creation, which often go beyond conventional manufacturing possibilities. Generative design thus opens completely innovative design concepts, as it creates unique and innovative solutions inspired by nature. Considering this it can be concluded that the development of this modern design approach has the possibility of a significant change in the way designs are created. This change would not be possible without the development of modern manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing. These modern production processes are gradually becoming a part of the design of many components not only in the aviation industry. This article presents the utilization possibility of the 3D printing in the design and manufacturing of the attachment of the sensors with the emphasis on the optimization of the model from the material consumption and the production time point of view.
