Intelligent airport protection supported by sophisticated security systems

Critical infrastructure defined as that part of the national infrastructure, the destruction or malfunctioning of which due to the action of a risk factor will cause a threat or disruption of the political and economic functioning of the state or a threat to the life and health of the population. As an element of critical infrastructure, the airport is obliged to maintain its security at a sufficient level even in changing security, economic and social conditions. The protection of the airport as an element of critical infrastructure brings the requirements for securing the perimeter of the airport with a high standard security. The aim of the article, to focus on different technologies and try to approach the decision-making process when designing a solution for an airport.
