The Potential of Selected Industry 4.0 Tools in the Aerospace Industry

The article deals with selected technological tools of the Industry 4.0 concept and the possibilities of their use and implementation within the aviation industry. In the introduction, the authors discuss the current state of the issue and individual selected tools. In the second chapter, they differentiate the individual subsystems of virtual reality and the virtual environment in general as a useful tool of the Industry 4.0 concept, where emphasis is also placed on possible health complications within their use. In the third chapter, the authors present additive manufacturing as a possibility for the potential implementation of these tools. The conclusion of the article presents a summary of the facts found and pointing out the questions that need to be dealt with in the framework of further research on the given issue.
