Fast Start Low Power DC-DC Conversion Circuit Design

A fast-start low-power DC-DC conversion circuit is designed. The conversion circuit adopts two charging methods: direct charging and charge pump charging, which greatly shortens the time for the output voltage to reach a stable value, thereby achieving the function of fast start-up. A high-frequency oscillator is used to reduce the output voltage ripple, and at the same time, the output voltage is indirectly detected to reduce power consumption. The circuit has completed the design and layout design of the conversion circuit. The chip simulation results indicate that under the 3V voltage source, the conversion circuit can shorten the charging time by 22% compared with the single charge pump charging method. At the same time, the working current of the comparator module in the circuit is reduced from 9.13uA to 334nA, and the overall operating current of the circuit is decreased from 30.2uA to 23.5uA.
