Improvement for Design of Digital T/R Module of X/Ka/Ku Band for EW with Multi – Functional AESA RADAR using FPGA

Mainly, this paper explains about, how the active elements in the Transmitting and Receiving Module (TRM) are mounted with the particular lattice distance and fabricated with low losses, with multiple ways to improve the efficiency. And also explained about the design and arrangement of the TRM in the Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) RADAR with more scanning area with the less time delay of scanning by using the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip of XILINX. The deviations of amplitude and phase was corrected by the “Collimation Process”. This paper also focused on the Automation Testing System (ATS) of the TRM, with active elements commanded by Graphical User interface (GUI) and the ATS has controlled by USB GPIB software.
