Review on different converters for solar EV microgrid and an integrated topology to ripple out the harmonics in PV panel

Electric vehicles are an important choice for decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. They not only reduce fossil fuel dependency but also eliminate the impact of ozone-depleting substances and promote large-scale renewable deployment. As a result, EVs have gained more popularity nowadays. The demand for better energy-efficient EV charging facilities has increased. The energy from fossil fuels is converted to a form by which EVs can be charged. This leads to the emission of CO2 still in the environment. Hence the EV charging facility fueled by Solar energy to improve sustainability and effectiveness is a noticeable research area. This paper describes the efficacy of various converter topologies for EV microgrids. Also, an integrated converter-based MPPT has been proposed to ripple out the harmonics in the PV panel. MATLAB Simulink software was used for the simulation of the system.
