Automated Solar Powered Pest Control System

This paper presents a new method for the pest control in agricultural sector which primarily focus on the elimination of all the mechanical, chemical, physical and biological methods by the implementation of an automated solar powered pest control system which completely depends upon the solar light which may be well adopted by farmers due to its low cost involvement and field advantages. During daytime solar panel is used to obtain the solar power which in turn is stored in the battery and is used to power up the insect trap and UV LEDs at night. The insect gets attracted by the light and an electrified grid is used to kill them and these are converted as manure in the system itself
