Evaluation of Global Positioning System Internet of Things-LoRa based

The GPS Module is one of the essential parameters in the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Microcontroller. A GPS module is a device that can be combined with a microcontroller to be developed for various projects. One of them is the LoRa module capability analysis project, which provides parameters for Receive Signal Strength (RSS), Signal Power (dB), Latitude and Longitude, or the position or location of an object transmitter and receiver. This project discusses the GPS analysis of the U-Blox Neo 6M-0-001 combined with the Graphical User Interface (GUI) software, complete with the parameters shown in the U-Center. The development of this u-center is in combination with Google Maps for data for the latest photos or a more user-friendly display with street, 2D, or 3D forms. By using the GPS Shield module, duinopeak RSSI reaches −118 dBm at a distance of 500 meters with a GPS data reception ratio of 96% Longitude and Latitude. in the next analysis, the GPS Module is placed on the Drone and flown in LoS and NLoS, RSSI and SNR of LoRa can analyze.
