A Step-Down Hybrid Converter With Unequal Inductor

A step-down topology derived from a hybrid converter is presented. The converter contains only two inductors, the output capacitor and one transistor. The operation is analyzed assuming unequal inductors and the main equations are provided. It is shown that the static conversion ratio it is not affected by the fact that the inductors have different values. The simulation results accompanied by the practical experiments they all confirmed the validity of the theoretical considerations.
