Editorial From “Microwave and Wireless Components” to “Microwave and Wireless Technology”

Time passes fast, and it is already almost one year since I officially started my term as Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) full of energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve our IEEE Technical Society in my capacity in this highly prestigious role. I can honestly tell you that the experience so far has completely exceeded my expectations. Indeed, having the opportunity to work closely with authors, reviewers, Associate/Track Editors, Editorial Assistants, and other IEEE staff and colleagues of our Society toward the success of MWCL is a true honor and pleasure. The work is most certainly gratifying; the role of MWCL is essential to rapidly communicate the latest advances and research findings in the broad area of RF/microwave engineering to the community in a rigorous and timely manner. We are undoubtedly moving toward a more densely interconnected world, and modern microwave and wireless technologies and applications will play a key role in it.
