An empirical study on College Students' cultural identity in the Internet Age

Young college students are in the critical period of the development and formation of cultural identity. Like the steam engine era, the electrification era and the microelectronics era, the network era will also lead to sweeping political and economic changes in human society. The problem of college students' cultural identity in the network era occurs in this grand era background and is profoundly affected by network information technology. The Internet has become the indelible background and variable of college students' cultural identity. Young students generally believe that the Internet will trigger considerable changes in the political field and the ideological and cultural area, which has become an important factor affecting their political identity and plays a pivotal role. Problems in network ethics, the network rule of law, network democracy, network culture and other aspects have increasingly become the key factors affecting college students' political identity.
