Dynamic Hysteresis Calculation of Silicon Steel Considering DC Hysteresis and Anomalous Eddy Current Loss

We had proposed a combined 3-D solid core and 1-D steel plate modeling method for accurate magnetic field and iron loss calculation of laminated iron cores with low computation cost. curve and classic eddy currents are considered in the 1-D model, thus it is improved to consider the dc hysteresis property and anomalous eddy current loss in this article. The improved 1-D model is applied to the dynamic hysteresis loop calculation of non-oriented (NO) and grain-oriented (GO) silicon steels and confirmed to be effective by comparing them with the measurement results.
