Hanover Decision Algorithm to Improve the Energy Efficiency in Advanced LTE Systems

Mini macrocell base station deployments, also known as femtocells, enhance the energy efficiency of both indoor and outdoor subscribers. Nonetheless, Handover Decision Algorithm (HDA) is still a major challenge in their adoption to improve the energy efficiency (EE) of Advanced LTE system. This paper is geared at this topic, with an emphasis on the most critical component of Energy Efficiency in Advanced LTE technology. Executing a handoff choice within the femtocell macrocell system for energy efficient network in Advanced LTE is a critical study area in handover management. In this paper, decision methods are categorized and compared based on reception speed of the user's equipment, signal strength, interruption, and operational expense in the Advanced LTE network speed. Although, this was discovered by the majority in the addressed decisions algorithm that they struggle in acknowledging selection of cell and throughput with access policy in hybrid system within one macrocell to improve EE. Several situations for femtocell like the majority of these algorithms fail to incorporate the user equipment (UE) residence parameter in order to achieve energy efficiency. The absence of this parameter (UE) increases the amount of unnecessary handovers. This paper offers an enhanced handover decision algorithm relying upon a frameless network designed to improve system energy efficiency (EE). We present UE system's EE optimization including limits on Mobility Management (MM) adaption in this paper. A sophisticated algorithm for handover selection has been suggested to see how to increase energy efficiency in Advanced LTE systems to address these problems. The user's speed, the intensity of the signal they got, how long they were there, power-optimization in EE and thus the femtocell base station's accessible policies are all taken into account by the suggested algorithm. In femtocell installations, it is crucial to address the issue of the volume of pointless handover brought on by excessive initiations. In this paper, we applied the approaches of handoff hysteresis margin, window mechanism, and an extension of the conventional time to trigger approach to resolve unneeded handover number difficulties. According to simulation results, the suggested algorithm increase the efficiency of energy in Advanced LTE networks while when there is comparison with the conventional received signal strength-based replacement of choice method, reducing the frequency of pointless handovers thereby improving the QoS. Finally, the scheme of results from simulations show that the overall energy efficiency have greatly increased with restrictions on the Handover choice mechanism of the users in the Advanced LTE network.
