Research on Technical Specification of Co-phase Power Supply Device for Heavy-haul Railway

Co-phase power supply scheme is widely studied and some schemes have been applied in projects. But the problem of lack of technical specification related to co-phase power supply for heavy-haul railways is encountered. The basic principle of the co-phase power supply system and its three kinds of operating mode (Co-phase power supply mode, Single-phase power supply mode and Over-zone feeding mode), the protection setting and control mode of co-phase power supply device are analyzed in this paper. The main technical specifications of the heavy-haul railway co-phase power supply device is confirmed. It has guiding significance to the reformation project and specification formulation of the co-phase traction power supply system.
