Calculation of the Consequences of a Decrease in the Power Factor Level in Rural Electrical Networks Supplying Municipal and Household Electrical Consumers

Comparative calculations of the load of a power transformer with a capacity of 100 kV.A and the carrying capacity, voltage and losses of electricity on a power transmission line of 0.4 kV in the village of Lutovinovka of the Kozelshchansky district branch of Poltavaoblenergo are carried out, taking into account the reduced value of the power factor and without taking into account the power factor (the existing method of calculation power loss). The refined values of the power factor showed that when calculating the current and voltage losses in the line sections, the calculations will be underestimated compared to the existing losses.
