FDM Products Strength Increasing Using the Algorithmic Means of 3-D Printers Working

Issues of increasing the FDM products strength due to the oscillations field imposition to the extrusion zone at the time of laying out the plastic are considered, which makes it possible to densify the laying out, increase the strips plane of the adhesive interthread and interlayer contact, and precede the extrusion of plastic beyond the laying out zone. Process simulation was performed in order to determine the rational processing modes and to establish the corresponding oscillations amplitudes and frequencies. The phenomena of plastic melt and extrusion, the temperature fields distribution on the surface of the contact strips formation, the drive dynamics during the movements algorithmic development in unsteady oscillatory motion by feed drives are taken into account. Experimental tests the proposed algorithmic solutions were carried out, a number of product demonstrators were made in the test cube form (20x20x20 mm) and a blade for tensile testing (160 mm). It is shown that due to the oscillations imposition at the extrusion zone, it is possible to increase the tensile strength of products by 15-18%, and a greater increase is observed in the plane of the work table. The possibility of achieving strength parameters approximately corresponding to the filament strength is shown. Further research with reinforced plastics and PEEK group plastics is recommended.
