Automated System for Testing Inductive Sensor

This work demonstrates the implementation of an inductive proximity sensor testing system. The objective of this system is to replace the existing testing equipment, which have a high cost and are obsolete, by an automated system, whose main element is a Programmable Logic Controller - PLC. The new test system, besides reducing the production times for all types of inductive proximity sensors, it also add higher quality and reliability to customers, since the tests comply fully with the IEC 60947-5-2 standard.
