A Full-Band Isolated In-Phase Power Divider via Waveguide-to-Microstrip Transition

A 3-dB waveguide-to-microstrip isolated power divider with a full bandwidth of rectangular TE10 mode has been presented in this study. A TaN film resistor is designed between the tips of the dual microstrip probes suspended in the waveguide to improve isolation. The measured results show above 19.6-dB minimum isolation in full Ka-band (26.5–40 GHz). The return loss is higher than 15.8 dB at all ports, with an average loss of 0.35 dB.
