Assessment of Head Exposure at Multiple Frequencies below and above 6 GHz

In the 5G wireless communication systems, the frequencies above and below 6 GHz are possibly used simultaneously. However, there are few reports to evaluate simultaneous exposure at multiple frequencies. This study evaluates the permissible radiated power for exposures from an inverted-F antenna operating at 1.95 GHz or 3.7 GHz and a patch antenna array at 28 GHz. The computational results confirmed that the basic restrictions of simultaneous exposure are satisfied when the reference level for the patch antenna is satisfied.
