Biography

Jürgen Peissig (M’06) received the Diploma and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the III. Physical Institute of University of Göttingen, Göttingen, Germany, in 1988 and 1992, respectively, focusing on digital signal processing with application in acoustics and hearing aids. In 1991, after a stay at Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ, USA, he was a Research Assistant and a Lecturer with the universities of Göttingen and Oldenburg, Germany. In 1995, he joined Sennheiser Electronic, Wedemark, Germany, where he became responsible for the digital signal processing group in R $\& $D.
