Biography
Victoria Ramos (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering and telemedicine from the University of Alcala, Madrid, Spain, in 2005. She was a Telecommunications Engineer with the Polytechnic University of Madrid. From 1985 to 1996, she worked as a Radio Communications Research and Development Engineer in the private industry. Since 1996, she has been a Research Scientist with the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, where she is currently a Ph.D. Researcher, and a Civil Servant, belonging to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and University, in the research area of telemedicine and e-health, Madrid.
