Giuseppe Guglielmi received the M.D. degree from the Bari University School of Medicine, Bari, Italy, in 1981.,He is board certified in radiology after continued training with the Bari School of Specialization in Radiology, Bari, in 1986. He is a Professor of radiology with the University of Foggia, Foggia, Italy, and Scientific Institute Hospital, San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. His current research interests include musculoskeletal radiology and particularly metabolic bone disease. He is a Research Associate with the Osteoporosis and Arthritis Research Group, Department of Radiology, University of California, San Francisco, CA, USA.
