Biography

Somanath Tripathy received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from IIT Guwahati, in 2007. He joined the Department of Information Technology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, as a Faculty Member, in 2008, where he is also the Founder Head. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Computer Science and Engineering Department, IIT Patna. He is being a PI of several projects related to security. He has published more than 60 research papers in different journals and conferences of repute. His research interests include lightweight cryptography, security issues in resource restrained devices, cloud computing security, the IOT security, and peer-to-peer security.
