Biography
Lei Gao (S’10–M’18) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, in 2017, where he is currently with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests include multimedia signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, and information fusion. He is a recipient of the 2018 International Symposium on Multimedia Best Student Paper Award (coauthor); a Visiting Fellowship from the Microsoft Research Asia, in 2016; and the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing Top 10% Papers Award.(Based on document published on 11 April 2019).
