Biography
Eitan Yaakobi (S'07) was born in Israel in 1980. He received the B.A. and M.Sc. degrees from the Computer Science Department, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, San Diego, where he is associated with the Center for Magnetic Recording Research.,His research interests include algebraic error-correction coding, coding theory, and their applications for digital data storage and in particular for flash memories.(Based on document published on 13 September 2010).
