Biography
Behnaz Ghoraani (bghoraani@fau.edu) received her Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellow period with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. She is an associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton FL 33431 USA, with a specialization in biomedical signal analysis, machine learning, wearable and assistive devices for rehabilitation, and remote home monitoring. She is an associate editor of IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics and BioMedical Engineering OnLine Journal.
