Biography
Hassan M. Nagib is the John T. Rettaliata Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, where he has been on the faculty since 1970. He held administrative positions at IIT for over 15 years including the positions of Department Chair, Dean of Armour College, Academic Vice President for Main Campus, and Director of Fluid Dynamics Research Center (FDRC). Other positions he has held over the last 30 years include Chief Scientist of the IITRI, as well as Visiting Professor at Stanford University, Cal Tech, KTH (Royal Tech Inst; Stockholm, Sweden), Friedrich-Alexander University (Erlangen, Germany), and EPFL (Federal Tech Inst; Lausanne, Switzerland).
