Biography

Digh Hisamoto (M,94) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in reaction chemistry from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1984 and 1986, respectively.,In 1986, he joined Central Research Laboratory, Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, where he has been working on ULSI device physics and process technologies. From 1997 to 1998, he was a Visiting Industrial Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. His current research interests include thin-film SOI materials, short-channel MOSFETs, semiconductor memories, and Si RF devices.,Mr. Hisamoto is a member of the Japan Society of Applied Physics and the Institute of Electronics and Communication Engineers of Japan.(Based on document published on 7 August 2002).
