Biography
Yangmin Li (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1994.,He started his academic career, in 1994. He was a Lecturer with the Mechatronics Department, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. From May to November 1996, he was a Fellow with the International Institute for Software Technology, United Nations University (UNU/IIST). He was a Visiting Scholar with the University of Cincinnati, in 1996. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 1997.
