Biography
Radha Poovendran received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1999.,He has been an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Washington, Seattle, since September 2000.,His research interests are in applied cryptography for multiuser environment, wireless networking, and applications of information theory to security.,Dr. Poovendran is a recipient of the Faculty Early Career Award from the National Science Foundation (2001), Young Investigator Award from the Army Research Office (2002), Young Investigator Award from the Office of Naval Research (2004), and the 2005 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, for his research contribut...
