Biography
Rafael P. Torres received the M.S. degree in physics from the Universidad de Granada, Spain, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in 1990. He became an Associate Professor with the Department of Communications Engineering, Universidad de Cantabria, Spain, where he is currently a Full Professor in signal processing and communications engineering. His fundamental lines of research have been development of numerical methods for the analysis and design of antennas, application of high frequency techniques for simulation and analysis of the radar section, and the design of radar systems.
