Biography
Suresh Subramaniam is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the George Washington University. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Washington in 1997. His research interests are in the architectural, algorithmic, and performance aspects of communication networks, with current emphasis on optical networks, edge/cloud computing, data center networks, and IoT. He has published over 230 peer-reviewed papers and has co-edited three books on optical networking. He has served as the Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Optical Networking Technical Committee and as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.(Based on document published on 8 March 2023).
