Biography

Junyu Dong (Member, IEEE) received the BSc and MSc degrees in applied mathematics from the Department of Applied Mathematics, Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 1993 and 1999, respectively, and the PhD degree in image processing from the Department of Computer Science, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., in November 2003. He is currently a professor and the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Ocean University of China. His research interests include machine learning, Big Data, computer vision, and underwater image processing.(Based on document published on 20 March 2023).
