Biography

Vittorio Scarano founded (with a collaborator) the ISISLab, a research laboratory in computer science, that focuses on distributed and parallel programming, social and collaborative management of open data, and interactive visualization. He is a Professor highly active in the academic carrier, is coauthoring more than 100 papers in internationally refereed journals and conferences, and has been joining more than 20 program committees of international conferences, since 2000. In the last 25 years, the laboratory supervised by him has joined more than 20 research projects, also as a Coordinator.(Based on document published on 22 December 2021).
