Michelle Jarvie-Eggart (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in environmental engineering, the M.S. degree in environmental policy, and the Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, MI, USA, in 1996, 1999, and 2007, respectively.,She is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, USA, with a decade of experience working on environmental compliance and sustainability issues for the extractive industry. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Engineering Fundamentals and an Affiliated Faculty in Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering with Michigan Technological University.
