Biography
Aoife Lowery received the master’s degree in medical science from the National University of Ireland, Galway, Galway, Ireland, and the Ph.D. degree as part of the Molecular Medicine Ireland Clinician Scientist Fellowship Programme. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Discipline of Surgery, National University of Ireland Galway and an Endocrine and Breast Surgeon with Galway University Hospital. She is currently Year 5 Head for the Undergraduate Medical Education Programme, and is an Associate Director with ICAT. Her clinical and surgical training was undertaken with the National University of Ireland Galway (MB BCh BAO, MRCS) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Higher Surgical Training Programme (FRCS).
