Deok-Ho Kim (M'04) received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea, in 1998 and the M.S. degree in mechanical design and production engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2000. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.,He worked at Microsystem Research Center, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, from 2000 to 2005. Between Nov. 2003 and Jun. 2004, he was a Visiting Research Scientist at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH-Zurich).
