Shengli Zhou [m'03](shengli@engr.uconn.edu) received B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and information science from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 2002. He has been an assistant professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT since 2003. His research interests lie in the areas of communications and signal processing, including channel estimation and equalization, multi-user and multicarrier communications, space-time coding, adaptive modulation, and cross-layer designs. This report introduces the approach that we have designed and implemented for the DeClutter challenge of Doc-Gen2, which detects non-informative code comments. The approach combines both comment based text classification and code context based prediction.
