Biography

Zhongjun J. Wu received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, USA, in 1996, the M.S.E. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 1989, and the B.S.E. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 1986.,He is currently a Professor with the Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, USA. His current research interests include bioengineering design, modeling and characterization of artificial organs for heart/lung diseases and evaluation of blood-contacting artificial organs, and device-induced blood damage.(Based on document published on 13 December 2017).
